New restrictions in the Asylum Law? No way, Ms. Widmer-Schlumpf!

Piece by piece, further planned restrictions in the Asylum Law are being revealed. The proposed changes include taking away military deserters’ access to the right of asylum, blocking asylum seekers from becoming politically active in Switzerland, and abolishing the ability to lodge a request for asylum in a Swiss embassy abroad. (Press release 06.10.2008)

By sending a flood of postcards protesting the changes as soon as they become public, we want to send a clear signal to parliamentarians that we protest these unfair measures! In order to be able to act quickly as soon as we need to, we are collecting information from all that are ready to support the protest.
